Nam Goong Min pulls out all the stops in the first episode of Good Manager in which he appears in everything from an awesome Joseon warrior costume to a wide lapeled suit with a very badly (or is it the new chic way?) tied tie.

The Track Suit

This may be the kdrama episode with the most costume changes ever by a male lead. After the opening Joseon fable sequence, we see Nam Goong Min in modern dress in a navy track suit with red accents. It doesn’t last long and we see him in …

The Scooter Jacket

Man on the go, Nam Goong Min, playing conman Kim Sung Ryong, switches to his scooter ensemble. The jacket — a color I imagine would come from a parsnip mating with sage — is ripstop fabric with a deep brown, sheared fur collar topped by a silver helmet.

The Pajama Bottoms

Pulled from his bed, Nam Goong Min throws on a hoodie, and a jacket over his cartoon-figured pajama pants. He pairs them with lemon-colored Converse to complete what is perhaps his most iconic look of the entire show.

And just for fun, they throw in this ensemble with an awesome quilted jacket. We should definitely look to see if this shows up at least one more time.

The Interview Suit

Note that his very brown tie is tied so that the inner end is considerably longer than the outer end. Let us see if his tie-tying abilities improve towards the end of this show.

The Suede Jacket

And just in case you thought he wasn’t changing his clothes enough, they throw in this outfit. Nice jacket. Hilarious, seventies-style extended-collar black shirt.

The Varsity Jacket

This is such a great jacket and turtleneck combination that it is a little sad that is is shown only in the moody, low lighting of a gangster bar. A deep gold turtleneck is topped with a navy varsity jacket with gold accents at the neck, front placket, and along the shoulder.
